SPROUT GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Growing Instructions

  • Measure out 1-2 tablespoons of alfalfa seeds.
  • Thoroughly rinse seeds under cool water to remove any dirt.
  • Place the the seeds in a mason jar or sprouting tray and cover with water for 8 - 12 hours.
  • Drain the water out & then rinse the seeds with fresh water & drain them again.
  • Rinse seeds twice daily with cool water and place in a shady area.
  • After 2 days you can transfer the sprouts to an area with indirect sunlight and keep rinsing and draining for 3 more days until sprouts reach desired length.
  • Always drain excess water to avoid mold growth.
  • Ensure proper air circulation with a sprouting lid or cheesecloth.
  • After 2 days you can transfer the sprouts to an area with indirect sunlight and keep rinsing and draining for 3 more days until sprouts reach desired length.

 

Store harvested sprouts in the refrigerator.

Add to salads, sandwiches, or dishes for nutrition and flavor.
