Both of my cats love this grass. It grows fast and lasts for a few weeks if you water it. I don't know if cats need roughage - but they certainly enjoy "catching" the grass blades and eating them.

It's so easy to grow! Once you see how fast the cats go for it, every day, we realize we had been depriving them of something they eat naturally when on their own because the grass provides natural health benefits they DO NOT GET in dry cat food!

This is probably the easiest grow yourself kit I have ever used for any plant. Easy to follow instructions and bam it’s growing as it says it will. Highly recommend it to give your kitties a treat. We ordered the cat grass for our rescue kitties. It was easy to plant and edible shoots popped up in a few days. In another few days the grass was 4 inches tall. Not only do our cats love it, but our dogs enjoy it as well. The cute little pots where we can write the pets' names are a nice touch!

Cute but messy

These are adorable, but not really good for cats, herbs yes!
Everything grew just fine, yet took a lot longer then I’m used to with my old kits which I just use regular potting soil.
The problem with these and cats, is they tend to pull the whole plant out of the pots! And tip over easily. Needless to say it’s messy. I got some cats who nibble on the tips of the grass and others who go for the roots.
I love the concept, but they failed the cat test miserably, lol 😂.
Yet, not all is lost as they will make beautiful planters for my many herbs!
